Oklahoma born J. J. Cale is one of these artists that always fly under the radar in terms of commercial success but is, in his own right, a hugely successful artist. I remember a couple of years ago seeing a documentary about him called To Tulsa and Back which gave some insight into the man and his easy-going almost lethargic musical style.
