Blog: unarocks

Santogold's record is my favourite of '09. The reason I like it is simple - it's pure quality pop with a bit of smarts. Everytime I listen to it, I find a new favourite track. At the moment, that track is 'Lights Out'. It's weird, even though I've been listening to the album for the best part of the year, it's this song that keeps getting better IMO. Maybe it's the nice harmonies, or the ska buzz, or the really swet breakdown, or the simple melody. As Paris would say, loves it.
