Blog: i guess i'm floating

A reader just sent us a kind email letting us know that IGIF is in the running for Best Music Blog at the 2008 Weblog Awards. After narrowly beating Stereogum in 2006, then narrowly losing to them in 2007, it looks like we might have another close race. I don't particularly know why IGIF and Stereogum were chosen while so many other fantastic blogs (GvB, PMA, YANP, MOKB, AD, etc) were overlooked, but 'tis the way the cookie crumbled this year.
