American musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird has just completed his fifth full-length studio album, entitled Noble Beast. According to NPR, the album is an eclectic mixture of jazz, folk, and gypsy ballads, and features collaborations with Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche and jazz bassist Todd Sickafoose. Early reviews suggest that the music is more acoustic than Armchair Apocrypha - but I'm sure it comes equipped with Bird's patented bells and whistles.
