With the forthcoming release of The Slammin' Salmon, the Broken Lizard collective ( Super Troopers, Beerfest ) are putting their own stamp on the underrepresented genre of restaurant comedies. The film revolves around a group of waiters in a Miami-based restaurant called, you guessed it, the Slammin' Salmon, who are involved in some shenanigans-laden (Hey Favra, what's the restaurant you like to eat at?) contest to see which waiter can ring up the most sales during a single night.
