Merge Records Link with The Shins, Prep Mega 20th Anniversary Festival

Revered indie rock label Merge Records will celebrate its 20th anniversary with XX Merge, a festival that's been confirmed for July 22-26th. Bands are still being confirmed, and the Durham, NC based label promises more details on the massive event shortly. In related news, the label has confirmed that The Shins (pictured) will deliver a track for the Merge covers album, SCORE! Merge Records: The First 20 Years.
