Black Kids & Mates of State Tour Dates The infamous band that has rolled through huge buzz, backlash, strange backtracking and just about everything else is embarking on another headlining tour this spring/summer with Mates of State . That's a fairly notable one-two punch, and the Black Kids seem to have gained quite a bit of popularity despite their tenuous relationship with the blogging community, and having Mates of State open for you is kind of notable and surprising in its own right.
