The 80s will never die. Apparently the bad music of the "Me" generation - you know, the dance numbers by those one-hit wonders, the inheritors of disco, the creators of House music and rap, and the precursors of boy bands - can't be underestimated. Even though "I Have The Power" a.k.a. "Power" was a number one hit in 1990, it sums up the spirit of the time so perfectly. And it was a huge hit in it's home country of Germany, in the UK and in the US, not bad for "bad 80s music", eh? Well, all these years later [...]
