Minisnap are essentially the legendary New Zealand band the Bats sans group leader Robert Scott. Though one of my favorite albums of 2008, Bounce Around , has not generated much hype around the interwebs. It seems that a group of middle aged kiwis lacking their principal songwriter would deserve a quiet reception, but guitarist Kaye Woodward leads the band through 12 fantastic pop songs.
