Heartless Bastards - The Mountain Something near alternative and Indie Rock with Obvious Country Roots comes to mind when one listens to the Mountain, by Heartless Bastards. A Band, whom are more full of more heart than their band name would have you believe. My immediate thought when hitting the play button for their first track "The Mountain" was "What the hell is this?" It took a while to warm up to the calm, melodic bass, distant guitar and more or less, hypnotic vocals.
