Blog: the velvet rut

As a long-time Jayhawks fan I have to say that I'm pretty damn excited about the release of next week's Ready for the Flood album from Mark Olson and Gary Louris on New West Records. The pair were the early driving force behind the Jayhawks through the mid-90's until Olson left the band following the release of Tomorrow the Green Grass in 1995.
