Growing up I was always infatuated with 60's girl groups and music from that era. I think it was really the Wall of Sound that was so captivating to me. Now, bands with a similar sound are called "Twee" or "Chamber Pop." Of that sound it had mostly been dominated by European bands like Belle & Sabastian and Camera Obscura.
