Atlanta's music scene is a very splintered, cliquish, fragmented scene. We have a major metropolitan area with a vibrant, diverse collection of artists, so this comes as no surprise to me. I mean, go ask a Brooklyn band if they have heard of *insert other random Brooklyn band* and most likely they will say no.
