A bunch of the new Arctic Monkeys tunes surfacing lately have been terrible quality bootlegs, but this clip of "Crying Lightning" from the Big Day Out festival in Sydney is the first tolerable glimpse of the band's new direction. Having holed up in the studio with Queens of the Stoneage frontman Josh Homme doesn't seem to have had a huge impact on Alex Turner's writing style, though he's definitely experimenting with more complicated arrangements and a markedly slower pace.
