I'm amazed by the whole nerd movement that seems to have been going on for the last few years. Musically it has even been spinning off into even more defined nerd rock genres like "video game rock" or "wizard rock" ( Harry and the Potters ). The novelty of the dorkiness of this movement has not worn off and as a frequent reader of XKCD and a self-proclaimed "Orch Dork," I'm still quite enthralled by this genre.
