I've been quietly geeking out over the new record from The Week That Was whose self-titled debut album was chosen by Mojo Magazine as the 8th best album of 2008. I can no longer remain quite about this one. In tone the record is reminiscent of Eno's Another Green World, The Blue Nile, early Tears For Fears, XTC circa Oranges and Lemons with cinematic touches of orch & prog rock (esp. Peter Gabriel).
