I first heard tonight's song 3 years ago on the drive home from a snowboarding trip. Like Eating Glass comes from the indie-rock/post-punk revival band Bloc Party 's debut album Silent Alarm . Released in February of 2005, Silent Alarm performed well on charts across the UK, Europe, and Australia. It's North American reception was not quite as flattering, peaking at #114 on the Billboard Top 200 and #3 on the Top Heatseekers chart.
