Blog: i'm waking up to...

it all started this afternoon when i caught lou humming beirut 's "postcards from italy". this was when audrey took the chance to introduce us both to alaska in winter , promising it to sound like beirut, except better. that sure got me interested, and as i found out, the project was one that revolved round one man - brendon bethancourt - with some help from other musicians, the most notable being mr beirut himself zach condon and heather trost from a hawk and a hacksaw. the song audrey let me listen to was "your red dress", [...]
