'Everything is Green' is about as pastoral and soothing as a song can get. It comes from Brooklyn outfit the Essex Green who've done the rounds on several labels of note (Elephant 6, Merge and Kindercore). It's easy to see the attraction as the groups airy harmonies really are a thing of beauty. This song was the title track from their 1999 debut and is marked by the beautiful soft rolling
