Starting back on January 15th, folk-roots band Corbin Murdoch and The Nautical Miles began a project titled a Year In Song, which involves the band releasing a new song every month in 2009. The songs will be available for download on the band's website and as well at the band's CBCRadio 3 New Music Canada website . To record the songs the band has been spending one day every month at the Hive Studios with Jesse Gander (The Buttless Chaps, Pride Tiger, The Pack A.D.) producing one song per session since October 2008.
