The White Stripes on Conan's Last Show (02-20-09)
The 2009 Oscars concluded last night with nothing going to far into the realm of surprise. I'm not going to shadow too much though onto the night, but I'm just kinda happy for Kate Winslet finally winning her first Academy Award after, I don't know, seven nominations. Good for her. Anyway, Conan's last show aired Friday night with musical guest The White Stripes performing a solemn, stripped down version of their song "We're Going to be Friends" off their 2001 album White Blood Cells .
