NEW Hello, Blue Roses: "Sunny Skies" The latest mp3 preview of Hello, Blue Roses' album, The Portrait is Finished and I Have Failed to Capture Your Beauty , is "Sunny Skies," which couldn't be more opposite of the dreary rainy California winter that's just begin to set in. It's a pretty little track, featuring vocals by Sydney Vermont, additional vocals from Dan Bejar and sparse piano accompaniment that's beautiful if not exactly sunshiney. The album is a joint venture by the super-prolific Canadian duo of Bejar (Destroyer, New Pornographers, Swan Lake, duh) and Vermont, and it'll be released on Jan. 22 from Locust Music. [...]
