This went down late last week, but I'm assuming most JTTS readers aren't big C-SPAN junkies. For those who don't know, the Republican Party recently tapped former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele as the party chairman. Not because he's qualified, or even a decent human being/politician, but because he's black, and, as the Democrats clearly demonstrated, America is looking to sweep any party headed by a black guy into office. In one of his first big announcements, Steele mentioned that he wants to apply conservative principles to - get this - "urban-suburban hip-hop settings." [...]
