Pooma, produced by Gunnar Örn Tynes of Múm Already founded in 2000 Helsinki based Pooma is one of the best kept secrets of finnish music. Their mesmerizing mixture of shoegaze-pop, electronica & majestic strings has evoked comparisons to the likes of Sigur Rós, Múm and Mew, but as they come from Finland they take the scandinavian melancholy even a step further. Their debut album, Persuader , was produced & partly mixed by Gunnar Örn Tynes of the icelandic band Múm, and released in Finland last year.
