Portland's own DIY boy, Alex Arrowsmith, has taken on a full band by the name of Tiger House. With damn near 10 solo self-releases, it makes sense that Arrowsmith would want to share his musical (and production) talent with other musicians. Rather than flexing his multi-instrumental muscle, Arrowsmith focuses on playing the bass for his new project and says the quartet's debut record Geodyssey (due out in March) is still in the recording process. Described as "the Shins with balls," by Aerosmith—although he admits the band is still working on a wittier one-liner—Tiger House [...]
