Washington-based band Death Cab For Cutie represents the 'American Dream' for up-and-coming bands, working their way through the indie circuit to eventually become of major label caliber. The song "Grapevine Fires" (from the album, Narrow Stairs ) was used in a mixtape dedicated to President Obama and the official video is a really dope animated video.
