If you were a fan of music in the mid-ninties then may be familiar with the approach of Helsinki's Pooma . On their debut album, Persuader they weave a tapestry of the best elements of what once was called "Trip-Hop" and lay it perfectly beneath the angelic vocals of Tuire Lukka. The results are familiar, but still you can get a sense that this band is carving their own path through sounds that brought them here.
