BEADS is the personal project of one half of the Blakes ' brother duo, Snow Keim, and his debut record No One Knows hit local shelves this week. The record begins with a mix of vintage sounding acoustic rock songs, with Beatles era touches abundant. In a reverent and almost nostalgic way though, and not weighing too heavily I think. Fellow-Blake-and-brother Garnet capably lends some downright astounding harmonies to that effort.
