I first came across kiwi lass Pip Browne (known to world at large as Ladyhawke) thanks to good ole Fairtilizer , but didn't listen to her album in full until late last year. It's been a constant on my ipod ever since. I love Ladyhawke, and not just because she comes from my hometown of Mastervegas . She's also a kickass songwriter and producer and she's got that 80s inflected indie-pop sound on lockdown, which is a sure way to get the nucleus accumbens area of my brain fizzing like crazy. [...]
