Like a hairier, manlier, Norwegian version of the world's cutest shredder, Marnie Stern, Norway's Ungdomskulen specialize in the type dexterous guitar work which would seem to mandate either a second shredder, or at the very least, a couple extra digits on each guitar playing hand. Unlike Stern, whose music is first and foremost about shredding, Ungdomskulen augment their proggy guitar acrobatics on "Idunno" with a rhythm and a kick which is almost funk like in nature, and a vocal delivery which is disinterested, in that sweet slacker kind of way.
