CBS News and Gallup are out with new polls this morning, showing that a significant number of Americans disapprove of Obama's performance in a particular area: the handling of AIG. 42 percent of respondents say they disapprove of Obama's performance with regard to AIG while 41%, a statistical tie, approve. But, despite the AIG fiasco, Obama's overall approval remains at 64%. Meanwhile, 61% approve of his handling of the economy, up five points from last week. That's right, UP 5 points.
