Those Poor Bastards have been releasing some incredibly unique songs for the last several years. Some fans were a little disappointed with their last album, "The Plague," but I think this album will be appreciated by those who were wanting the type of upbeat songs that were on "Songs of Desperation" and "Hellfire Hymns." Longtime favorites like "Crooked Man" and "The Bright Side" are among the standouts. My favorites are the faster songs, but the creepy slow songs hold the album together, too.
