Gotham's own new wavey/prog rock act Fires Of Rome dropped their kaleidoscopic, genre-dabbling debut record You Kingdom You back in January to pleasant response (most notably from The New York Times ) and have been riding that wave as of late while still remaining quite mysterious and sort of unchampioned as of right now. They shot a video for album track "Set In Stone", which is basically an exercise in high-speed cinematography a la "Time Warp" mixed with couturiers and they're planning on playing on May 2 at the Tribeca Grand Saturday party [...]
