What do sickos and carpetbaggers have in common besides an unhappy childhood? They have Harlem Shakes to sing about them. They started out with a more rock oriented sound, but after a lot of alterations within the band they found themselves a definite lineup and a sound. Indie pop with a hint of Latin music and synthezisers. In spite of the latest hyped bands from Brooklyn, Harlem Shakes prove that holding onto pop tunes can be rewarding.
