It's been nearly two years since Belle & Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch announced a worldwide hunt for a singer / budding movie star to feature on his upcoming project. Not only has Murdoch got his girl, but they've also finished the record, announced a summer release date and effectively launched the career of Catherine Ireton, who until today was one half of the unknown Scottish acoustic outfit, The Go Away Birds.
