One of my favorite Texan bands, Strange Boys, have been touring in the Southeast recently, and will be kicking off their June tour on 6/5 with Mika Miko at Denton's fine Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios. When I first saw Strange Boys, they were still calling Dallas home (they now reside in Austin), and were playing incredibly energetic and sophisticated live shows, especially for three guys who hadn't yet reached legal drinking age.
