Washington, DC based band Deleted Scenes is made up of four high school friends who played together, parted ways after graduation, and reconvened to form the band a few years later. With songwriters Dan Scheuerman (guitar/vocals) and Matt Dowling (bass/keys/vibes/flexotone) contributing equally to each song, and Brian Hospital (drums) and Chris Scheffey (guitar) rounding out the group, the band's sound is complete. Deleted Scenes released their debut album Birdseed Shirt on March 10th, and initially there was little fanfare surrounding the release. [...]
