
Pilot Speed: Wooden Bones I was excited to check out Wooden Bones , the sophomore release by the Toronto-based band Pilot Speed. The album's lead single "Put the Phone Down" was a fun mixture of Pete Yorn and Death Cab for Cutie, but quickly into the album I tempered my expectations. The music Pilot Speed puts out is labeled indie rock but it most closely resembles adult contemporary.
