Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder, Madagascar 2) has reportedly been tapped to write and Kevin Lima (Enchanted) to direct Universal Pictures' live-action film Candy Land, based on the Hasbro board game. Universal Pictures and Hasbro formed a six-year strategic partnership in February 2008 to produce at least four feature films based on some of Hasbro's toy brands including Monopoly , Candy Land, Clue, Ouija, Battleship , Magic: the Gathering, and Stretch Armstrong .
