Another grand discovery hailing from Austin, TX comes Corto Maltese and their driving, catchy songs. Damn it if I don't feel like I'm copying everything I've read about these native Texans, but their sound definitely brings forth reminders of Wolf Parade . ( Arcade Fire comparisions begone!) Definitely some straight up jams coming from this Answer, Answer EP which are graciously accepted. They have that undeniable 'it' factor going for them and their love for local music almost makes me not want this to escape the state boundaries of Texas. [...]
