is this guy ... Sean Tavis, an "Information Architect" from Kansas, is the 2009 Our Kitchen Sink Coolest Candidate for State Legislature, as voted on by me. Tavis, clearly a member of Generation Now is a Democrat in a notoriously conservative state, who is committed to making open government a reality. He ran for the State Legislature in 2008 and barely lost despite receiving small donations from over 3,000 donors. The previous record for Kansas was 644. How did he do it? The internet. [...]
