Spinner posted the official video for this Land of Talk song as its video of the day today, but I couldn't figure out how to embed anything from their site, so I checked YouTube . No dice, but this live version from CBC Q's Friday Live session is better anyway. I first heard "Some Are Lakes" a few months back on Sirius' Left of Center (now XMU ) and fully intended to buy the record, as I love this Elizabeth Powell's voice, and I own their debut EP, Applause Cheer Boo Hiss .
