I just read the lady's first biography, " Cat Power: A Good Woman " by music critic and former Blender editor-at-large Elizabeth (sometimes Lizzy) Goodman. Fair & balanced review in PopMatters forthcoming. Let's just say it is the longest PR one-sheet I've ever read and I loved it because I love Chan. Her story speaks for itself. Terrible title though.
