Artist to Know: Spoon Spoon are an amazing band out of Austin Texas . The band formed in '93 and recorded their debut The Nefarious EP. Within a year they were signed to Matador Records and getting ready to release their first full length album Telephono.The Debut record drew heavy comparisons to Wire and The Pixies.All the while hinting at something greater to come.Less than a year later The Soft Effects Ep came out and showed more range and growth .
