All Smiles prep Oh For The Getting and Not Letting Go

All Smiles is Jim Fairchild of Grandaddy/Modest Mouse, and Oh For The Getting And Not Letting Go , is his second full-length. Fairchild began work on the new record when he moved to Chicago in the winter of 2007, after years living in Modesto, Los Angeles, and Portland. Geographical repositioning often leads to inspiration, and in this case, Fairchild was living in a rough part of the city.
