Blog: Sex 4 Ears

Usually when I go to review an album, I listen to it once, leave it, and come back to it at a later stage to listen to it again before I start writing. I'm currently up to track 4 of my first listen of Datarock 's latest effort Red, and I'm already completely disinterested. Sprinkled with recycled lyrics, meaningless spoken word excerpts, and repetitive and uncreative guitar loops (which seem to suffice awarding them a "rock' tag), Red is an embarrassing return to a genre that [...]
