One of the latest efforts in Bono's ubiquitous (RED) Campaign is the (RED) Nights concert series. A portion of the proceeds from each RED Nights show will be donated to the Global Fund , which finances programs to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. The first New York date in this series is the just announced Katy Perry show at the Hammerstein Ballroom on July 28 .
