Quiet Hooves , a gang of lovable hooligans from Athens, Georgia, was my favorite discovery at this year's SXSW. Whether it was playing a hill top at 2AM or rocking out at the back of a thrift store, it seemed like they were always the ones up to most interesting things. They're currently touring with Bird Names , an experimental pop outfit from Chicago, and both are stopping in New York for a few dates.
