Judee Sill gets tributized
Judee Sill was a singer/songwriter from Oakland, California. She was the artist signed to David Geffen's Asylum label, and during the 1970s, released two highly acclaimed studio albums on it. This music eventually caught the attention of such acts as Fleet Foxes, Warren Zevo, and Graham Nash, all of whom have recorded or performed her material, but not before Sill died November 23, 1979 due to a drug overdose.
