Album review: Au Revoir Simone - Still Night, Still Light Au Revoir Simone was destined for fame from the start. Three photogenic young women from Williamsburg playing synthesizers and cooing tuneful indie-pop in a band named after a line from Pee Wee's Big Adventure ? How could they not become hipster queens? Fortunately, the songs occupying their 2007 breakthrough, The Bird of Music , were as intriguing as their backstory. Follow-up Still Night, Still Light arrives with hordes of bloggers salivating to begin the backlash, but they'll have to dig hard to find this album's downside.
